Europe, the State and many European regions are already involved in developing the sector. Burgundy-Franche-Comt\u00e9 is one of the territories identified at European level as a \u201chydrogen territory of the future\u201d thanks to its many assets, including the FC Lab, Faurecia and the many projects led by the local authorities.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The Burgundy-Franche-Comt\u00e9 Region has thus wished to make the hydrogen sector a priority in view of the urgency of the climate challenge. The regional strategy is implemented within the framework of the \u201cBurgundy-Franche-Comt\u00e9 Hydrogen Roadmap\u201d, which mobilises 100 million euros over the decade 2020-2030.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">To deploy it, the Region relies on key players such as the regional economic agency (AER), P\u00f4le v\u00e9hicule du futur and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, as well as on partner territories that have chosen to commit to territorial hydrogen ecosystems.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Since 2019, the sector has seen an acceleration, making Burgundy-Franche-Comt\u00e9 the home of many actors wishing to acquire and develop know-how on this technology of today and tomorrow. With its industrial know-how and research, Greater Belfort has an ecosystem dedicated to this green energy: research, training and certification, production, storage and distribution, for stationary or mobility uses. Now recognised as the European capital of hydrogen, Greater Belfort invests in and supports every company in the sector that wishes to set up in its territory.
